The cheers Wiggo and the team got when they went by were unbelievable, just a shame that the plan didn't work out. But did they try. They were certainly to most organised team.

And the poor guys that were dropped off the back of the peloton. Must be so difficult to race that distance by yourself. Still the crowds cheered for them as much as for the leaders. Aren't we a sporting nation? Makes you proud to be British.
