These delightful poppets finished their weaving before everyone else and played Tantrix  together.  The aim is to build loops of various shapes and sizes.  All touching colours much match.
I had not expected so much comment on the little Maurice Sendak books from yesterday.  In true blip style Anemone told me about Carole King putting the stories to music.  I found them on You Tube and tried them out on 8 year olds.  They liked the story being sung and the animations are using Sendak's illustrations.  I enjoyed watching and not having to read.  I was part of the audience the same as the children.  It was a nice way to end a very wet day.
