Boats graveyard

A trip to Dungeness today. Not really C's choice of place but I love it here having visited 2 or so years ago. It made up of a large shingle spit with a scattering of houses, a nature reserve and Dungeness Power Station.

People flock here at weekends for the best Fish & Chips around. We resisted today because it was packed because of Father's Day celebrations - instead we had a walk along the shore which was busy with fishermen. 

Having reluctantly left we headed back & stopped at a Beefeater for dinner. It was seething here too but they managed to squeeze us in...a good meal & home by 8pm.
