Sgwarnog: In the Field

By sgwarnog

Shell

Another warm afternoon, so I detoured into Tong Park on the way back home from the station to see what was out.

At the back of Spring Wood I saw my first Ringlet and first Meadow Brown of the summer, but there will plenty more of them to come, so pride of place goes to this Yellow Shell moth as I usually only come across these once or twice a year. Also about: Large Skipper, Small White Speckled Wood and Chimney Sweeper.
