Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

Late evening, looking over Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

The Queen Elizabeth Olympic park was built for the 2012 Olympic games and incredibly occupies an area straddling 4 East London Boroughs "Newham" "Hackney" "Tower Hamlets" and "Waltham Forest".
After the Olympics the park closed for full re-development and opened again in 2014.
The Royal Mail gave the park and the new city 'Stratford City' the postcode E20  which had previously only appeared in the television soap opera EastEnders for the fictional suburb of Walford.
It is one of the largest urban parks created in Western Europe for more than 150 years and is the new home of my team "West Ham United Football Club" who will play in the magnificent Olympic Stadium.

I had a race in the park tonight, and took this photo on the walk home.
