orange eyes

Another busy day at work. Things are still not working as they should. The particular machine I am struggling with is exhibiting very odd symptoms. My suspicion is that it might actually be faulty hardware. We shall see.

Went for a lovely, albeit brief, bug hunting trip to the hermitage. Plenty of orange tips and some cryptic (mircro) moths. Lots of flies, some spiders and lots of weevils. I was hoping to see some scorpion flies, but could spot any. If my googling foo is up to it I recon today's picture is of a female fruit fly (Xyphosia miliaria), the ovipositor can be clearly seen. A really pretty fly.
