Our own prawns!

We made paella tonight - with small spot prawns and tiger shrimp that we caught this winter in a secret spot nearby! Our first winter with all the gear and the time to go out, drop the traps, check them regularly and then bring the bounty home to the freezer. They were delicious! A proud pair! There is something so satisfying about eating what you have caught and prepared yourself. Maybe an entry for this week's WBC.
