My beloved Oslo - Dream big!

This new mural in my old neighbourhood is made by Mohammed Fadlabi,(1975) a Norwegian artist. He is born in Omdurman outside of Khartoum in North Sudan and got political asylum in Norway in 2003.

He noticed that this is a multicultural area, and wanted to give hope and inspiration to the kids. His message is to dream big, everyone can be an astronaut or what ever, it doesn't matter if you are white or black, the only thing that's matter is that you have a dream and work hard.

Fadlabi is a popular designer of album covers, but has also made drawings on the walls on the bar Angst, see extra shot.  His paintings has been shown in galleries here in Norway, but also in Tate Modern in London, Temporary Gallery in Cologne, and galleries in arabic countries.
