Isola di Ponza

Spent a great day on the island of Ponza today. Left the apartment at 7.30am and got back at 8.45pm, so a long but very worthwhile trip. 

Ponza is one of the Pontine islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea and is a 70 minute hydrofoil journey from Anzio. The picturesque town of Ponza is brightly painted,  traditionally to help sailors find a safe route home in bad conditions. 

After exploring the town we took a small boat trip to Frontone beach and spent the afternoon swimming in the crystal clear waters before heading back to Ponza then Anzio :-)))))))))
