Kruger Day 5

Another dull day but again we enjoyed a leisurely drive - went up towards Mopane today where we had a brunch at one of the picnic sites.  It began to rain quite heavily so we had to take cover but luckily had finished cooking the bacon/eggs and tomatoes! 
The hippo we saw looked worse for wear - obviously been in some scraps recently as the sores were red raw. So little food for these animals to eat at the moment; the park is a desert. Very sad to see.
