Sydney by Air

A sunny morning soon clouded over and a heavy rain shower.  The rain soon passed and a sunny, warm and bright afternoon.  This evening has been windy and a chilly nip in the air.

Up early and picked up from the hotel.  We have been out on a helium tour of Sydney for the day.  They dropped us iff at the Opera House and enjoyed a walk around the harbour too.  Fish and chip supper for lunch, followed by a ferry trip back to Darling Harbour.  Enjoyed a visit to the Maritime Museum and then back to the hotel for a rest.  This evening we walked to China Town and more food.  A quiet night in, another big day tomorrow.

What a fantastic trip over Sydney by helicopter.  The city is enormous and really get to see how vast it really is.  Left the airport and headed straight to the high rise of the city centre, next past the harbour bridge and opera house, onwards to Bondi Beach and also spotted humble whales jumping out the sea.  The pilot gave a great tour, pointing out the prime minister's houee and evem Russel Crowes house too.  Here's Brian in the drivers seat, with the Sydney Harbour views.
