They Did What?

A slightly surreal day.  I've never been more in demand as a political commentator.  Without exception, everyone at work wanted to know "HOW" the UK could possibly have voted to leave the European Union.

I'm quite happy to admit that I don't know how it came to pass, but I do think it was a decision that came from beyond politics, despite what Boris, Michael & Nigel might say to the contrary.

The next few years are not going to be fun.  2016 could turn out to be the weirdest of the weird years - Britain out of the EU, Prime Minister Boris Johnson & then surely waiting in the wings President Trump.

I need a lie down.
