Warmed Up, Then It Went

Diane2104 recently posted a pic of a bee on a Linaria pupurea flower. https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2189113222685002691 She wasn't sure what the plant was. I used to grow from seed and sell the pink Linaria Canon J Went. It has seeded itself on out property and we have the purple and pink forms of this member of the toadflax family.

I shot this tiny solitary bee on the pink last evening for a collage I made for Day 4 of Insect Week on Twitter. When I went outside this morning it was still there but damp and motionless. It was wonderful to see it catch the sun, warm up and fly off. It's on a pink floret but the purple is in the background.
