Parklife

Unfortunately for Mo, she's had to work today, down in Newcastle. So as a result, me and the boys have had to make our own fun.

We decided to go for a walk at the John Muir Country Park, to take advantage of the sunshine. We walked until George went on a sit-down strike, then had a picnic which I'd hastily thrown together. Orange squash with floaters, and everything! And at least Molly liked the cheese sandwiches.

This was a game of the boys' devising: they would stand on the opposite dune, with one of them shouting to get my attention, while the other would try and surprise me by crawling through the long grass and jumping out on me.
