... in Alnmouth this afternoon, but at least the rain held off while we were on the beach.

The horrible reality hit first thing - woke to hear Nigel Farage on the radio declaring Independence Day for the UK. Devastated is an understatement. And appalled and saddened, later in the day, to learn of Brexit voters who are already regretting their decision because “I didn’t think my vote mattered”/“didn’t think about the implications”/“I’m worried about my job”.

Yesterday, I was quite optimistic for the future…
