Viewed

A Saturday call from Bailey at early o'clock but we both went back to bed for a while before I headed out for spin. The usual instructor was back and he worked us hard. Home to walk Bailey and then out for lunch with the bestest friend. We went Uphill for a potter and lunch and a first viewing of the poppies for us. Our first sighting was a little underwhelming, particularly as neither of us had brought our longest lenses but we did eventually twig that we could get closer, along with countless other folks. At least this observer from the walls was suitably colour coded. A return visit just before the gates close and the sun sets on a fine week night is our next plan. 

A relatively successful shop with a credit note spent at sale prices before we headed home. Another walk for Bailey and then a bit of a snooze with my book finished off the afternoon. We've had thunder and lightening this evening so Bailey and I have stayed put. He's slept the evening away and I've worked my way through several episodes of Outlander. Distinctly more relaxing than yesterday evening.
