Question Answered

Today, we went to watch some Highland Games on display at Lime Rock Park (Mr. W's home race track!).  Among the events we saw were hammer throwing, tossing sacks of something or other with a pitchfork over a bar set at various heights, tossing heavy metal weights over the same bar (as in this picture), and caber tossing.  All these events looked like the perfect scenario for some serious back strain!

So.  At long last, the age old question "what is worn under a Scotsman's kilt?" was answered this afternoon!  The only other answer I've ever heard was provided by a kilt-wearing Scotsman in Edinburgh who told me "Absolutely nothing is worn under the kilt.  Everything is in perfect working order!"
