Glastonbury 2016 - Day 4

Our time zone has shifted a bit whilst at Glastonbury; the late nights mean late mornings. With a reasonable amount of rain coming down early in the day, we gave in and adopted wellies rather than walking boots, turned out to be a very wise choice. We headed over to one of the bars to meet a friend then back over to see our first choice of the day, the excellent Hurts. Lead singer Theo Hutchcraft (blipped here) and the supporting gospel choir were all dressed in white, they certainly stood out when much of the rest of the scene was muddy brown!

We headed over to the John Peel tent to see Example raise the roof with plenty of crowd support, then back to The Other Stage to see a great set from Scottish trio Chvches. We saw them on a much smaller stage last year so interesting to see them return to a much bigger stage and audience. Then we were into a typical Glastonbury dilemma with so many great acts on at basically the same time. Having deliberately skipped most of the headliners on a Saturday the last few years, we broke with tradition and went to see the first 5 songs of Adele's set on the Pyramid Stage before walking back round to The Other Stage to catch some classics from New Order.

Finally we headed up to the dance melee that is the Arcadia spider for tomorrow's excitement....
