Bright sunshine during the set up phase, dwindling down to quite a heavy downpour.
#casualsexism we had a game of cricket at the top end of the road, I joined, bowled (overarm) and batted, some random guy said 'ah, you did well there, proper bowling action, and batting too' he didn't say it to the blokes!! Cricket is not a games which requires much strength or a pair of balls to play, so I think there's no reason for me to be any less talented than a man.
On that note, john Lewis has a gender biased display, male electricians, carpenters and female shop assistants. Urgh. How are little girls ever going to realise these professions are open to them? Rant over.
