Last Rehearsal

Last rehearsal and the first time we have met the orchestra, the BBC Symphony Orchestra indeed!  Always a bit nerve racking when you are practised with just a piano accompaniment for the last four months and suddenly there are all these guys playing along instead!

It all went well and so did the concert in the evening, when the conductor, Alexander Vedernikov, took the Beethoven as fast as was humanly possible!  Great fun and exhausting, but luckily Lady Findhorn and HL enjoyed themselves! 

Very strange to be singing the European anthem at a time like this . . .
