Badeshiff

So we headed out and met Keith and Jonnie at their hotel at about half one before heading down to Tresor with them. They were playing upstairs in the Globus room and although it was the eighth time I've been there now that was the best set I've heard in there so far.

We managed to meet Louie and her pal there too after not managing earlier in the day. Plus, as seems to be the norm in Tresor, we met a group of people from Glasgow, who we had mutual friends with, randomly on the dance floor.

It was a great night and we lasted until about quarter past sixand were back in the hotel at seven. We managed about three hours of sleep and a shower before having to check out at eleven.

Feeling exhausted and hung over and with it being another scorching day there was only one thing for it, a day at Badeschiff alternating between dozing on deck chairs, cooling off in the swimming pool and ordering cold drinks. It was great but by the time we left four and a half hours later we were wishing there had been a bit more shade as despite several applications of lotion Roz was pretty badly sunburnt and I had mild heat exhaustion to add to my hangover.

We headed back and collected our bags from the apartment then headed for the airport. Our flight was delayed by almost two hours in the end, but we met up with Louie in the airport again so had a chat and a beer while waiting. Part of the delay was on the plane so in the end I was out cold before we took off and slept until about twenty five minutes before we landed.

It was a great trip if a little brief.
