The Way of Colour

By Beachcomber149

A curve of clouds ...

... over a curve of beach.

19C light breeze and clouds building to heavy showers in the afternoon.

Apothecary7, Maeve the Deerhound and I had our walk before lunch today and got round before the showers came. Just as well, as they were very heavy like yesterday's.

To add to the fun of posting a shot of Maeve yesterday, so that you could see my blip walking companion, I have put a sequence of pics on the 'overspill' blog today taken as we made our way round the routine walking route :-)

The blip is a view of the beach at Westhaven from a point not long after we had crossed over the level crossing and walked down on to the sand. Just at the water's edge I thought the clouds and the line of the beach worked reasonably well together. The Fishermen's huts are to the right of the blue boat by the shore, behind the small line of dunes. There were some people there today, sitting outside one of the huts. There was tea drinking going on and some happy chatting. We stopped to say hello and remark on the lovely day. It was warm and pleasant for walking :-)

There has been Olympics telly viewing, and F1 highlights too. BBC1 looks like wall to wall sport for the duration.

Many thanks to all of you who enjoy coming on a 'virtual walk' with Maeve and I. We enjoy having you along and we would like to thank you very much for the pleasure of having Maeve in the Spotlight page yesterday !
