went a long way when I was a lad. I hope someone bought me this book [Awdry, The Rev W (1951), "Henry the Green Engine", Leicester, Edmund Ward (publishers) Ltd] which must have been borrowed sometime before 1965. The Bookshop was run by the wonderful Miss Benn, who always knew what I'd like to read.

I'd forgotten that the Fat Controller has a name. Anyone ?
