Delphinium are picky

Not sure why but these grow well on the West side of our yard but refuse to survive on the East side. My wife is a symmetry freak so it drives her crazy at times as it unbalances the yard. I am blessed with a good dose of apathy as I just a happy they bloom. The extra is sunset over Pikes Peak.
