Last day (Backblip)

Last day in W Wales and after a shaky start weather wise the day blossomed into bright blue skies and lots of sunshine.

We met a very interesting couple yesterday at the RAF Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre and Sunderland Trust. Mr T got on famously with the Mr and I with the Mrs who apart from being an ex-Tiller Girl is now a professional photographer and fine artist. What's not to like but Gosh, I was in awe, but they were such an innovative and lovely couple so I got over my insecurities on the photographic and artistic front (Mr T doesn't suffer such things, he's a brilliant all-rounder!!) and just revelled in their company. Anyways, the amazing couple must have liked us as we were invited to coffee at their house this morning and further enjoyed their company and wonderful photographic and art exhibition they are currently holding.

Thereafter, back to our own little world : a walk round St Brides Bay and a quiet time spent in the dear little church there, lunch at the harbour in Little Haven and then a bit of a coastal walk for me from 'Matilda's' field and on down to Druidston Beach - wished I was one of those enjoying a good gallop along the beach!
