THE PRODIGAL ROACH STICK

What ?

That little piece of wood disguised as a matchstick is actually made of boxwood  which is super tough & flexible - excellent for rolling roaches (for the innocent, apart from being small fresh water fish, "roaches" are also filters for rollies - or joints for that matter).

I put on the red tip for visibility!

Anyway - I lost one last week - & this afternoon crossing Place Bossuet on the way to the butcher's - eyes to the ground, I was delighted to light upon this lost friend amongst the cobblestones.

Gave him a new red tip & rolled the fatted rollie!

'Part from that I did watch rather a lot of Wimbledon &  a marvellous match between Britain's Marcus Willis (N° 772 in the world rankings) & Lithuania's Ricardas Bernankis (N° 54).

Marcus Willis looks a bit like a young fit Ian Hislop -  he totally bamboozled the great Lithuanian - beautiful tennis - yess!
