Beret......

....for those cold winter days.
 
A soft, round, flat-crowned hat usually of woven hand-knitted wool, crocheted cotton, wool felt, or acrylic fibre, this one looks more woolly to me. The beret fits snugly around the head, and can be "shaped" in a variety of ways - not sure this one would last the distance. Berets are not usually lined, but many are partially lined with silk or satin, this one is 'au naturel'.
 
Thanks to Walking Wombat for hosting tiny Tuesday, I always enjoy seeing what the garden can offer for this challenge.
 
Turned out to be a pleasant day after a dull start, 13C, at 3pm with a blue sky, long shadows and bright sun.
