Day 4 Moselle cycle ride

We cycled from Zell to Treis-Karden 47 km.
we stopped at the pretty town of Beilstein for lunch with half timber architecture. The weather was overcast but just right for cycling. Then we explored the most popular place along the Moselle called Cocham.(this blip is Cocham)Then we decided to take the route through a nature reserve on a well fortified trail - err.... The cycle signs were absent but we continued anyway and it was 10 km of mud and pot holes and eventually I lost my balance and my lovely new Skechers got muddy! I was not impressed! We arrived in Treis and stopped for coffee and strawberry cake and then crossed the river to Karden to our hotel Schloss Petry where we have an enormous room.
