The harbour

A warmer day than yesterday but it was fairly overcast particularly in the afternon.

L and I visited the harbour in Pittenweem after taking our garden rubbish to the tip.  We were lucky enough to see one of the fishing boats with its catch of lobsters and crabs coming in. I know little about crustaceans but I was quite surprised to see the elastic bands holding the lobsters' claws shut. Folk were buying their supplies right from the quayside .... nothing quite so fresh as the catch straight from the boat.
