Stevns Klint

The prominent line across this rather fine chalk cliff marks the boundary between the Cretaceous rocks and those of the Tertiary. What is different about this particular contact is the thin band of fishy clay that was deposited after the meteorite that crashed into Earth near present day Mexico. It is such an important place that it is on the World Heritage list. The weather was good too.
