Last of the Rasberries

I was delighted to find this area of six ripe raspberries all together; there aren't too many left on the bushes. I think the basket picked today will be the last  basket for the year. Just a few lone red berries that will probably ripen tomorrow and a few green ones we can pick next week..... if we remember.
Answer to yesterday's question. Yes, the adoption is an open adoption. I think it is more common these days and it is easier on the birth mom to let go......but according to a caseworker friend of mine, most birth moms discontinue contact  before very long.
