Geode

From the Atlas Mountains in Morocco.

I was amazed at this when I saw it in a fossil shop. It was in a big box full of these all wrapped separately in pieces of an Arabic newspaper, which in itself gave me some smiley moments, not that I could understand a word of it, not even the date :-). It might look like a piece of coal but it is stone.

I am hoping that maybe this is wild enough for Wild Wednesday.
