Purple Heron x 2

This evening we went to the farm Game Park pond and saw 2 purple heron; one in a tree and one in the grass.  We also saw an African Jacana - what a lovely water bird and a woodpecker = extra photos.
What an lovely day - we went up into the mountains to the Lekgalameetse Nature Reserve - a stunning drive and we saw the elusive Samango monkeys. Amazing bird life, butterflies and wild flowers!
