The birthday cake

Here it is! Ben's Billy Sheehan custom bass, which is his favourite ....one of three! He's decided he's only taking one bass to uni, don't know how he'll leave the others behind.

Anyway, I had arranged, with the help of one of his friends, a surprise birthday celebration for him. He had NO idea and enjoyed having his mates over and spent the rest of the day with them.

I'm super pleased with this cake, it's my first attempt at a guitar. One of my specialties as a cake artist is making 3D cakes, I love making them. This isn't quite 3D. Hardly anyone orders 3D cakes :(.

A wonderful day and I'm just super chuffed that I could actually surprise an 18yr old!!!

Can't believe my baby is 18.
