Abstract Thursday: "Mystery"

One of the saddest things I see in old cemeteries is when the surface of a stone has eroded or flaked off, leaving the inscription illegible.

I shot this one in the old cemetery at Rathven this afternoon. The overall effect is, I think, quite abstract, and the few remaining letters leave the inscription a tantalising mystery...
