Out with the old

A similar photo from a week or so ago, but this time to mark the occasion of my first ever foray into real glasses' territory instead of dollar store readers. 
After my examination by the opthamologist a week ago, it was back to my GP today for his consultation. All basically good with my eyes but need to pay attention to my BP and a test for diabetes to be done tomorrow. 
Then it was off to the opticians to get measured for some specs, (like buying a suit eh?). 
They'll be ready next week. I wonder if I'll see the world in a new light once I get them. 

Ah well. Until tomorrow....
