Shuttle launch pad

Day three brought a trip to Kennedy Space Centre. It was a fascinating day and I learnt a huge amount about the space programme. The sheer scale of the rockets is so difficult to comprehend, until you are actually standing beside one.

The shuttle launch experience is definitely not to be missed and gives you a good insight into how a launch would feel. The astronaut hall of fame is also well worth a look.
