Truckin'

At the Route 66 Auto Museum in Santa Rosa, New Mexico.

Historic Route 66 ran from Chicago to Los Angelos. It has now been largely replaced by the Interstate System of Highways; however, certain sections remain open and are an attraction to car buffs.

Today we drove 650 miles from Tucson, AZ to Tucumcari, New Mexico.

Once again I was amazed by the wide open spaces and views to the horizon that we can see in New Mexico.

We saw signs for two ranches that are for sale. One was 6,000 acres and the other was 20,000 acres. Hurry and make your purchase before they are sold.

Tomorrow our goal is Springfield, Missouri.
