Wild verges

A  long walk this morning (Thursday) with Ollie and Scratch,  which started out in brilliant sunshine, was very wet in the middle, and ended in sunshine which meant we were just about dry when we got home!

Love the verges at this time of the year, the vetches, buttercups, clovers, cow parsley and smell of the meadowsweet.  An amazing amount of heat comes off them after the rain too . . .
