Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

By NannaK

Oh Canada

Today was Canada Day, Canada’s 149th birthday.    Lots of coverage of the festivities in Ottawa on Parliament hill …. and a speech from the young PM Trudeau about what it means to be a Canadian emphasizing kind and giving and welcoming all the Syrian refugees this year.    Good to see… Picture of the flags on our point…We'll be here more if a certain person in the USA wins the election in November

The day here was a bit rainy and windy so we took a walk, pulled broom, and spent some time in the studio (after the ice cream run with a son --always appreciated...!).  The kids did an art project about Canada which I may try to blip tomorrow if I get time…  Ran out of it tonight, ( plus they're not done).. We got up really early to take a friend to the ferry who brought his boat to moor here for awhile.
