The Knapp Church

Well, this is all that is left of it (where the altar once stood).
This is the preserved churchyard of the 'Church of the good shepherd' aka Knapp Church, in West Sussex. The tiny brick church was built 1878 but some say it was closed then vandalised, some say it was closed because it was vandalised, then it was demolished in 1986.
I also came across St Mary's Church at Chithurst (in extras) an 11C simple, sleepy country church which was both charming and peaceful.
