Caught Before The Act

On the way back from buying a newspaper I noticed this black cat eyeing up an unwitting female blackbird. Was the cat getting ready to pounce? I'm not sure, though it did have a guilty look on its face and slunk off into the bushes. The blackbird didn't seem to have noticed a thing!
