Gate House

A morning spent waiting around in hospital while I had various tests for the nodule re-discovered in my lung.  The conclusion was that it was a hamartoma, a benign lung tumour and although it had grown a bit since first discovered five years ago, there was no evidence to suggest there was a problem.  So the only treatment is for another scan every two years to monitor the situation, which was very reassuring news.

We drove back across country and passed this rather splendid gate house en route.  No idea whose estate it belongs to, but there was an identical one the other side of some rather lovely wrought iron gates.

The rain set in with a vengeance, so there were no other blipping opportunities today and I was glad I had stopped to take this shot:-)
