St Andrews Castle

I'm not sure why I packed sun tan cream, it certainly hasn't been used yet. The weather wasn't too bad this morning but the rain has hardly stopped since the middle of the afternoon.

L and I went to St Andrews to do a bit of shopping .... birthday present for 'little' brother, glucosamine from Holland and Barrett, groceries from Morrisons and petrol for my car ..... exciting stuff!  

We always park the car down by the harbour (it's free there) and then we walk up the East Scores into the town.  There is a great view of the castle ruins from there.  Today the sea was calm with hardly a ripple.
