Sun and showers across the Tay

This morning the weather looked promising so I set off for Perth for a walk to a couple of monuments on the hills above the Tay valley, partly to see if the route was runnable and partly just for the walk.
It was quite hilly but a very varied walk through woods, fields, moorland and a short road section after a golf course.
To begin with it was fairly overcast but then a mixture of sun and a few showers (all but one light) giving fine views and photo opportunities. This one was just after the second monument looking westish and the extra is later on looking south west in the general direction of Stirling with distant mountains.
there were loads of flowers, and butterflies in one section.
