resting on a daisy...

...is a little ladybug

surprisingly, my 1st of the season

for some reason, seeing lady's - has been a scarcity so far this summer - just as it has been with butterflies - last year, they were everywhere - i wonder why this is - but while i wonder, i stumbled upon - this one on a white daisy which made my day - i almost missed it, it's so tiny - i think he was truly tuckered out, too - 'cuz there wasn't any budging from him - as i poked around - he simply continued to snooze away

if you could swoop a ladybug into your pocket - to take it home, i'd have done it with this one - he wins the prize for being totally laid back - in my book that's the sort of thing which makes for...
