Howlin' Fling...

All packed up and into the car for 8.30.

A long, very wet drive up to Arisaig to meet our ferry that was taking us over to Eigg for a weekend of music.

By the time we got up to the ferry, the rain had stopped and the sun was out.  We all piled onto the ferry, and sailed over to Eigg - happy to see the sun still shining, and even spotting some seals on the way over.

We were met on the island by trucks and trailers and happy folk in bobble hats (as is the Lost Map Records way).  A short walk along the bay (past beautiful clear water and white sand) to our campsite, then the fun part of pitching the tent, which went surprisingly well, considering we'd not tried it before.  Some red wine to celebrate, and then we headed up the hill to the village hall for food, beer and music.

This is Rozi Plain.  She makes beautiful music.  You should get her album.  The SBG love it.

A night of music at the hall, followed by a stagger back to the tent by torchlight, and bed.

Oh yeah - I've added a couple of extra photos.  One of Eigg, and the other of a Loch somewhere on the road up, taken from the car.
