from the cotton eyes

Bayram1

Today was the first day of the ramadan holiday -an important one in Turkey.
My family and I went with the good old traditions, which carried us to my grandparents' house (even though only one of them is still alive).

When I was younger, I called this tree a helicopter tree. It stood under the outside stairs of my uncle's house and playing with its leaves was my biggest joy there. Unfortunately, it has been cut when I was gone. RIP childhood memories.

I will try to upload photos from the last week this weekend (or the soonest time I'll find a computer).
