An American Butterfly

C took me round the Quaker's Meeting house and for a brief stroll in the local woods giving me some history on the battle of Princeton and the Quaker's roll as pacifists helping the wounded. 

Any ideas what kind of butterfly this is?

It is a Pearl Crescent Butterfly, what a lovely name.
