A very wide puddle

Encountered during an orienteering event today. The army have not allowed civilians to attend their events for months and lots of us have missed our regular Wednesday lunch time scamper round with the squaddies.  Anyway today's map was criss-crossed with very steep muddy tracks probably used for tank practice.  They made the area like a maze and it was very easy to get confused- well that's my excuse for making 3 really stupid errors that must have cost me 20 mins.
